67th Reunion Our 67th Class Reunion at the HorseshoeGrill in North Reading, with one of the topics being “How do we all survive intact for another decade or so”. Ann McManus signing in with Sandy Moore Bartlett Larry Kenny ( on the left ) tells Harry Bowen, “a good nite’s sleep helps longevity”, while Caroline Dube adds, “early to bed, early to rise is the best way to go”. Another group with Peter Bergholltz ( on the right are Erton Robertson, and Diane Di Burto), discussing Peter’s idea that to I’ve a long life, one should “choose to be happy”. Jeff Taylor and Ralph (Randy) Smith agree that travel and a change of scene are good for one’s psyche. First time Reunion attendee Bill Freeman, with sister Connie looking on, attributes his fit appearance to a healthy diet. Joe Long and Bill Tilley agree that an occasional beer helps improve one’s circulation. Jeff asks Ann if her youthful appearance is the result of getting into our class as a child prodigy. Roberta McGrath asks “What’s the secret of a long life?” to Gordon Anderson, who replies, “I do a lot of story telling, singing, and poetry” Josephine Turelli and Sandy strike a smiling pose. Peter, and Don Sillars’ wife Sarah tell Don that he should try an occasional glass of wine to help one’s circulation. Practicing what he preaches, Gordon recites an original poem to the crowd. Harry and his wife Phyllis express their approval of Bob Holmes’ song “On the Street Where You Live”. Rolinda Durgin and husband Charlie Vars strike a smiling pose, and approval of our Reunion Committee’s work. Bill Freeman and Dr. Robertson agree that good food is basic to a long life. Roberta and Judy Pulson have attended almost every one of our past Reunions. Janet Vars is relieved to hear from Dr Robertson that she is doing everything possible to stay healthy. Caroline loves a good cup of tea every afternoon, with a small shot of bourbon, while Jeff looks on approvingly. Diane DiBerto and Ralph (Randy) Smith are our most recent in house class couple The food at our Reunion this year was exceptionally good. Pauline Doherty and husband Jack have enormously enjoyed the tasty food and good discussion. Bobby Ducker tells Pauline and Jack that playing golf is a great way to stay healthy. Sandy and Ann welcome every arrival with a smile. Peter makes a point to say hello to everyone. Larry and Phyllis are surprised to hear Harry’s explanation of the key to a long life. Joe Long, long time Reunion attendee, checking in. Randy recommends “not too much salt” on food. Peter agrees, “Just a pinch of salt is best” Jack reminds Harry that hanging out with younger women may not be that good for his health. Jeff and Janet enjoying the music. Bob congratulated Harry on his song “Carry me Back Lord’. Erton and Diane listened intently to Harry’s, Bob’s, and Gordon’s songs. Silvia Armstrong is as lovely as she was in 1957. Margery White and husband Larry Kenney look to be a bit skeptical at Harry’s recommendation. Judy proclaimed to Caroline and Josephine, “I tell you, the garlic you’re tasting is a godsend for your immune system”. “So what do you think?” asks Judy. Joe and Bill – two of the healthiest guys on the planet. Phyllis recommends “Ashwagandha” for good sleep and heart health. “Are you really serious about hanging out with younger women?” Joe asks Harry. “Thank you Lord for this wonderful tea, with a small shot of rum”, says Caroline. “Did you hear the one about the priest and the rabbi”? asks Ann. ‘Hi everyone out there” Randy and Harry agree, “We hope to see everyone in the class here in 2027 for our 70th Reunion”. “Ditto” from Sandy and Ann. Our fearless leader Peter also agrees. Our 2 most recent first time attendees, Bill and Erton, also plan to be there. “I think I’m going to need another drink after Bobbiy Ducker’s most recent hole in one story”.
